It was overall a great stay. The lobby is cozy, fragrant and dimly lit with soft yellow lighting. The room is not very big but there was enough space to move around comfortably. Love the shower with instant heating and water temperature digitally displayed and the hairdryer has good wind strength. The toilet seat is electronically kept warm and wash basin tap comes with hot water, which really made a difference during cold weather. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with variety enough for a nutritious start to the day. The noodles made by the robot was unexpectedly quite tasty. The complimentary late night porridge was also a warm touch to end the day for guests. There are books spread out throughout the public spaces for guests to borrow (all Chinese books though). The location is rather convenient, about 10-15min walk to 2 metro stations, Jing An Temple Station and Nanjing West Rd station, lots of eateries nearby and a few shopping malls like Kerry Centre are also within walking distance, plus the beautiful Jing An Temple of course. Special thanks to the kind staff named Weekend (Zhou Mo) who extended complimentary late check out till 4pm in view of my late flight.

Facilities: The facilities are very complete. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on. The desk is large, which is very suitable for people who need to work in the hotel. The decoration is also relatively natural and modern, which makes people comfortable.
The service is also in place, the hygiene is also very clean, and the cleaning is very careful. Each room has a suitable memory foam pillow, which feels very comfortable. I want to buy one.
In short, staying here is a relatively warm and comfortable thing. However, the laundry room and fitness facilities are currently outside the first floor. It was supposed to be on the 5th floor, but the 5th floor is still under renovation. I hope it will be renovated when I stay next time.

The location is great for the Shanghai Railway Station. At first it seemed a little far away from the main tourist center, but we quickly came to appreciate the peaceful walkways along the Suzhou River. The breakfast menu is varied, with Western choices amidst the local favorites. The local restaurants near the railway station are good for a quick meal. More choices are in the neighborhoods to the south and across the river, easy walking distance. We loved the 15th floor feature room and the whirlpool tub. I would stay here again.

Will stay again! I booked this last minute because I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel I had originally booked, so I decided to switch hotels the same day. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and advertisements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. I really loved the bed, pillows, and even the slippers! On top of that, they provided a Dyson hair dryer, a Nespresso coffee machine, and even gave me a gift when I checked out! The room was spacious, perfect for solo travelers. The location was also great. Additionally, they have a locker for food deliveries, so you don’t have to worry about your food going missing if you don’t have a Chinese phone number. I will definitely stay again when I return to Shanghai for work!

🫶THE COFFE : the coffe machine was very good, every morning I have coffee that boosts my day, I will buy the same machine for my hotel too so my guests could be happy like me.
🧡🧡 one night we have party and we come back with our coat smell cigarettes so badly, I am try to look for dry clean laundry and the owner help us to the max but can only get it done until 3days we couldn’t do that as I need my coat, so he help us to get it done at hotel and he charges us FREE 🙈🙏🙏

The self-service laundry room is very useful, and you can also do fitness next to it. Opposite the hotel is the Darongcheng commercial complex, which is convenient for eating and shopping. There is a very good beef noodle restaurant on the street nearby. The hotel also provides free night snacks at night. The rooms are clean and quiet, with smart facilities, and it is very comfortable to stay.

This hotel is situated in a quaint, urban and peaceful neighbourhood of Jing An. Staffs provided timely assistance and are friendly esp Xiao N. Couldn’t thank her enough for addressing my queries and also helping me with my luggage. Also, comfiest bed ever!! Will definitely rebook this hotel for my next visit!!

A old 4 star hotel but well maintained. Room was clean with comfy bed ( more towards hard type) but the pillow is abit too soft to my liking. I booked on north building. I did not know it was not at the main building ( where check in is done) the reception did not inform me about it. So it took me sometimes to figure out that it's actually is at the next building. To go to the lift there is a few steps. So it's a little hard to bring heavy luggage up the stairs. The cleaner on 4th floor ( my room) is very nice and polite, I asked for extra water, she gave to me and told me to ask for more if I needed. My sister room on 2nd floor has very strong cigarettes smoke smell even though I asked for a non smoking room, we asked to change to another room which the staff gladly arranged for us. Location is great as it's near train station, temple and malls. It's easy to call for taxi as well as they have a big lobby/parking area.

AAnonymous UserThe room was nice and spacious. The room is surrounded by market selling fruits and food and other shops which is great in a way but also in the early morning, there will be sound of people dragging trolleys and talking loudly which the room didn't have a good insulation system for.
More importantly, there's is no metro that was near enough that could walk within 10 minutes, every metro line station was very far away. The staff was not friendly, no talking or even simple greeting.
Not recommended.

It's a pity that the shower head in the bathroom leaked, so I didn't dare to take a shower. It's also close to the subway station and there is wind noise. I returned to Shanghai on the 8th and have chosen another hotel to stay in. The cleaning lady was very careful and kept the room clean. She was also very easy to communicate with. Although the price is affordable, the service is really bad and she gave me a cold face. When I consulted, I was inexplicably scolded and indifferent. This is the worst time I have stayed in 50/60 hotels. I will never stay here again.
