"The whole hotel looks old, and the bathroom door in the room can't be closed. The air conditioning has problems—it's constantly cold, and there is no heating. However, the front desk staff and restaurant service personnel are relatively friendly. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. However, compared to four-star hotels in Taiwan, the facilities here seem outdated. Taiwan’s hotels are newer and cleaner, and the food selection is also more abundant."
"An old hotel with a sense of history. The breakfast is of good quality. It is quiet and comfortable. The antique shop on the way out is worth visiting. Lao Zhao Noodle House is nearby and is very delicious."
"Facilities: Facilities are very good, breakfast is on the second floor
Hygiene: This is not good evaluation. Very good, except for a small bug crawling on my hand, maybe because I live near the road and the beach and the floor is low.
Environment: very good Although small, beautiful scenery and unique location
Service: The front desk is very, very cute"

"The hotel is right next to Heidelberg University and parking is very convenient.
Breakfast is simple, but it feels good
I opened the window in the room where I could see the church, and I was woken up by the bell of the church's holy gods early in the morning"
"Good location within easy walking distance of the Altstadt and the Central Station.
Not much in the way of amenities in the hotel - no bar or restaurant but plenty nearby.
Staff were helpful and friendly."
"Dener hotel was very good. You can walk around. The tram and buses are leaving near the hotel. The river is very close. You find yourself on the streets where you have historic houses.
There is no lift. There is a very nice seat in the room. I wish it had a chair. No sac dryer. The room is clean and comfortable. We were very happy. We will try to come back."
"Hotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small."
"Small but modern and clean hotel with few eateries around the hotel. Location is a little far from the ruined Castle and old market place but near the beautiful river and city centre."
"Hotel location is good, just on the edge of the old bridge, next to Heidelberg University, the restaurant in the basement feels good. The hotel door has been locked and needs a room card or password. In fact, there are staff on it, which made me wait until 3 o'clock at the door to check in."

Outstanding
Hheid-.-iBest hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Location is perfect, just below the castle and minutes away from the city centre, rooms are cozy, nicely-decorated and clean. Staff were helpful, showed me where to visit in Heidelberg. Lotte feels like home!
MMartinaGreat location, 2 minutes walk from the historical center . Tram stops in from of the hotel with connection to the main train station
Friendly staff , smooth check in and check out.
Fabulous breakfast, however you have plenty of cafes, coffee shops and supermarkets around.
Highly reccomend .
GGuest UserThe hotel is right outside the train station. The room is average, but it has everything you need. It is simple, comfortable and new. You can check in via the self-service machine, which is more than expected. It is cost-effective and has a good location. You can walk to the attractions.
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the highway, which is convenient for travel, but there is no business nearby, so it is not convenient to eat. The hotel is large, with an indoor swimming pool, which is not bad, and a separate sauna room
SShuk YiThe location is superb - Heidelberg Central station is practically next door (3 mins on foot). The hotel is very new and has an open plan in the lobby and breakfast area - appeals to the young travellers. True to the German style, the craftsmanship and design in the room are well thought-through. Everything you need for a long or short stay is there in the room. We don't need daily cleaning services, so that's fine with us, much better that way to save water and detergents. Breakfast is good, too with a nice wide spread of choices of juices, hot drinks, continental bread, cold cuts. We had 2 encounters (couldn't figure out how to use the cooker and hair-dryer) with the staff and they are really efficient and helpful.
SSyarifah NurulWe booked this hotel last minute to visit Heidelberg, we are in shock when we go to the room because the room are well prepared & its cold! have aircond in it! We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is well located, new, modern. The room is very clean, big enough and very beautiful design furniture.
I did not try SPA and fitness center but they look very good.
GGuest UserPros: good location, right next to the train station, relatively clean, good breakfast
Cons: expensive, no bottled water, had to run out to buy water in the middle of the night
MMAll in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.
RRebelheartLocation: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf.
Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!)
Lift: old and small but it works!
Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out.
Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small.
Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!
