"It's a fairly old hotel. The rooms are spacious, but the facilities are old and the bathroom door doesn't lock. But everything is forgiven with the hot spring water :D The bathroom is quite spacious and the bathtub is very big. Even though it's old, the jacuzzi works. The price is reasonable and I would visit again."

"We were checked in late because the rooms weren’t ready. Was escorted to the lounge but it was packed with no place to sit. Went up to the room and was disappointed to see a partial ocean view when I booked and paid more for a full ocean view. Told the front desk and they swiftly changed our room to a full ocean view. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and gave us a late check out."

"We arrived from Seoul via KTX and stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is near Busan station and you can find it easily if you take Exit 6 of the Subway or Exit 1 of the KTX station. There was a false fire alarm on the first night and the Hotel Management apologized for it. There is washer and dryer located at the basement and operated by coins & notes. Many eating places near the hotel and Starbucks is located on the second floor if you want to have coffee. Overall, a pleasant stay."

"This was hands down the best place I’ve stayed at in Busan. The location is unbeatable—perfect for relaxing beach walks, with the shoreline just steps away. The surrounding area is filled with excellent eateries offering a wide range of local and international cuisine. While some of the restaurants and cafes can be on the pricier side, the quality and atmosphere make it worth the splurge. The overall experience—from the view, the vibe, to the convenience—was exceptional. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Busan, especially if you're looking for a memorable seaside stay."

"I recently stayed at the Signiel Hotel in Busan with my parents, and it was good experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—staff were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive, making sure my parents felt comfortable every step of the way. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking ocean views that we enjoyed every morning. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were luxurious with top-quality amenities. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. What really stood out for us was how thoughtful and accommodating the hotel was for family travel. We had easy access to everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was a highlight—so many delicious options, both Korean and Western, with fresh ingredients and an elegant dining space. My parents especially loved the serene atmosphere and attentive service during meals. Location-wise, Signiel is perfectly situated right by Haeundae Beach, making it easy to enjoy scenic walks and explore the vibrant surroundings. If you're visiting Busan with family, especially with older parents, I can't recommend Signiel enough. It’s the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality."

"Modern hotel, nice decor, plenty of facilities (extra charge required), poor service. Swimming pool, sauna, gym all require additional charge or are only included with premium rooms and above. The facilities are great and gym is of a commercial level. Hotel staff were not very welcoming and rather depressed. Even though the hotel is in the city center, it's not really near any of the main spots you'd want to check out. We ended up taking a 30-minute taxi ride every day just to see the sights, which was a bit of a hassle."

DDeznadBest hotel in Busan Address: Good Ol’ Days Hotel, 5 Jungang-daero 41beon-gil, Jung-gu, Busan Price: 💰💰 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Planning my trip to Busan was like being a kid in a candy store - so many hotels, so little time! But with a ferry ride to Japan on the agenda, I figured, why not pick one right by the port? That's how I stumbled upon the gem that is Good Ol’ Days Hotel. Now, this place isn't just any hotel; it's a time capsule, a portal to the past tucked away in Jungang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan. The name says it all - Good Ol’ Days. As I checked in, I was greeted with a welcome gift that included stamps and postcards. But here's the twist: I was invited to jot down my present feelings, seal them up, and they’d be sent into the future. It's like leaving a piece of yourself behind for future you to discover - how cool is that? The lobby was like a treasure trove, with the owner's curated list of local activities and food spots that only the savvy locals knew about. And get this: there's a convenience store right across the street for those midnight munchies - talk about convenient! Don't even get me started on the rooftop area - bean bags, movie nights, and complimentary drinks from their café upon check-in. Now, onto the rooms. With only 9 cozy nooks to choose from, each room has its own unique charm. We snagged room 1, and boy, was it a treat. From basic toiletries to a Dyson hair dryer (yes, you read that right!), they've got you covered. The pantry was stocked with goodies like drip coffee, cup noodles, and even beer - perfect for those late-night cravings. But the real showstopper? The technology. A record player and Bluetooth speaker set the mood, while the absence of a TV encouraged us to disconnect and unwind. And if you're feeling creative, they've got a bunch of stationery and scrapbooking tools to leave your mark and even write a postcard to your future self. All rooms come with breakfast - a cute picnic basket with cereal, eggs and scones. Overall, Good Ol’ Days Hotel was more than just a place to rest my head; it was an experience that left me feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of my journey.

Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the free parking service was a great bonus. The staff provided excellent support before and during our stay, ensuring a smooth experience. A special shout-out to Mr. Kim Kyu Sung, who went above and beyond when our rental car had an issue late at night even though it’s out of the scope of the hotel service . His quick response and genuine assistance saved us from a stressful situation, especially as first-time visitors to Busan. His hospitality was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated!! Highly recommend Brown Suites Busan for its outstanding service!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is really located very well. The main street has everything and more. Close to subway, buses, subway exit (which is the closest to the hotel) with elevator. The minus of the hotel is the absence of breakfasts, the hotel does not have any arrangements even with nearby restaurants. Reception will not advise anything, in fact there is just for check in and check out. Rooms are large with good bed, a small view of the beach. Windows are opening. Air conditioning works. the corridors carpeted (you won't hear suitcases), soundproofing is good (I have a sensitive sleep). Cleaned well. Shampoo, shower gel and soap is there, but the quality is so so. Just 3 stars hotel.

SSeca2Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was just across the Busan Station 1 and walking distance to most establishments. Though the room including the toilet&bath is small, it is complete with amenities (like Japanese style). Hot and cold showers, bathtub, hair blower, water heater for coffee and tea, slippers, small vault for valuables. They provided toiletries and pajamas (just collect at the lobby area). Note: toothbrush and toothpaste not included. No cabinet but can place your luggage under the bed. Free breakfast. No microwave inside the room but at the lobby area where you can have water, coffee and tea from the vending machine. They have a laundry area too so you cannot bring much clothes. The only downside for me is that, check-in time is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, so better adjust and manage your timing. You can leave your luggage at the reception area if you arrive so early. So far, I had a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing sleep during my stay. Cleanliness was never questionable. I look forward to staying here again.

EEdwardI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.
